I fell 2 days ago off my chair. I fell on my face & my nose and forehead took the brunt of it. I loss a medium size of blood. I have used cold packs to keep swelling down. My left nostril finally quit bleeding & my left didnt bleed but it hurt more than the left one. I m now getting headaches which could be from the fall, a migraine (lengthy history or from my fibromyalgia. It feel like it s a migraine as the start of them is where my headache pain is. Should I be worried about a gemstones? ?
I understand your concern, and would explain that it is normal to have headache after such a head trauma.
From the other hand, based on your past medical history, you are a very susceptible person to the pain.
Nevertheless, I would recommend consulting with your GP for a careful physical examination and a scull x ray study, to check if everything is all right.
If your situation worsens in the next days, instead of improving, a brain CT scan may be necessary, to exclude possible delayed intracranial hemorrhage.
Meanwhile I recommend you to have some rest and take some painkillers for the pain (ibuprofen, acetaminophen).
Hope to have been helpful!
Greetings!
