Suggest Treatment For Head Being Numb After Smoking Weed

Hi, im am 21 year old. day ago i smoked weed, which was very strong for me, since i havent smoked much in past. After I smoked, my head got very numb, n I got very scared. My heart started racing and I tried to controll the numbness, but i felt the more I tried , the worse it was. My sense of direction got worse as well as my movements. Today, even after a day I can feel my head differently, as its still numb , and something is happening in the back of my head, Im afraid it damaged brain blood arteries. Can you tell me if this is going to go away, because I feel like Im gettin paranoid and causing such feeling...

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query your head being numb after smoking weed is because smoking weed produces intense excitation and leads to anxiety symptoms which can lead to dizziness, head pop, sudden inflow in head and severe headache. This sudden head rush could be because of panic attack and leads to numbness in head region. No it is not permanent and you should avoid smoking smoking weed. If ever you will take that go out for ventilation and not in closed space. You should take anti anxiety drugs like Beta Blockers especially Propranolol or Atenolol can help to reduce your symptoms and take benzodiazepams as well. Visit physician once if anxiety attacks increasing as this is something you need proper check up and you have to quit your habit.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes,
