General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be most likely bartholinitis or bartholin cyst. If you send a picture of it then it will be more helpful in identifying. Hot fomentations will be helpful. If it persisting with pain then antibiotic therapy will be required. In case of collection of pus it should be drained by putting an incision. Betadine ointment can be applied after that.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
