Suggest Treatment For Hard And Tender Hematoma On Rib Cage

Hi! I have a hematoma on my rib cage from an accident a few weeks ago. The bump has gone down. (I had xrays and CT scan done and nothing serious was diagnosed). But the bump is still there and sort of hard and tender on one side. Can I heat it to increase the healing process? What else can I do to speed up the healing process and get rid of the bump?
