Suggest Treatment For Hair Loss, Brittle Nails And Hot Flashes

I have been experiencing hair loss (not in just one spot), brittle nails, hot flashes and tiredness. I recently lost 35 pounds and have been eating healthy foods (more protein, much less sugar) since March. I am 65 years old I began menopause at age 37 and had a complete hysterectomy 16 years ago.

Hi welcome to health care magic....

You aren't menopause and having hot flashes....
So estrogen secreting ovarian tumour should be ruled out...

Your work up needed with....
-pelvic examination
-per speculum examination
-USG abdomen
-Hormonal profile etc.....

According to cause further specific treatment can be guided....

If needed serum TSH and free t4 estimation can be done... To rule out hyperthyroid.....

Rule out anemia by hb estimation....

Take care

Advise : gynecologist consultation for examination...
