Suggest Treatment For Granuloma
My nephew just emailed to tell us his 10 yr old son has a granuloma. He had been coughing and the pediatrician sent them to a pediatric radiologist today. He said the radiologist was not too concerned and they will start with a Z Pak and return to the pediatrician Monday. Please tell me what it is and the treatment. Thank you so much!

Hi...Z-Pak is azithromuycin and it is a macrolide class of antibiotic. I do not understand why Azithromycin is bieng prescribed for a granuloma. rather I would prefer to investigate for the cause of the granuloma and it depends on where the granuloma is .
