Suggest Treatment For Glucagon Storage Disease

I have a question about Glucagen Storage Disease. I am trying to figure out if this might relate to me. I m a 33 year old woman. Height is 5 2 and weight is 125. I had gestational diabetes and now have been diagnosed with diabetes. I m having problems with getting my sugars under control. I have always had problems getting weak around meal times ever since I was little, especially before lunch or breakfast. I am currently only taking 10-12 units of insulin at night and prandin at meal times when needed but hardly ever. My sugar reading fluctuate from day to day. I also have been having lots of problems with mouth ulcers. Just curious because a nurse friend metioned this disease to me.

Dear madam
I can understand your concern
I would like to explain about glycogen storage disease.
this conditions are mainly genetically an will be there since birth In most of them there will be defect in processing and storage of sugars at deferent levels.
There will be enzyme deficiency at cellular level
after carefully analyzing your history the problem you might be suffering might be type 2 diabetes.
most of patients suffered with gestational diabetes will suffer type 2 diabetes in later life if proper diet and exercise are not maintained.
I suggest you to meet your physician and consider changing your medication to tab metformin and new medications like sitagliptin and vildagliptin for a better diabetes control
most if type 2 diabetes individuals will do better with tablets diet and exercise
