Hello,

You should know that Herpes virus usually stays inside your body, within the nerves. It can not be eliminated by your body, and it may lead to herpes activation time after time, during stress or fever. Acyclovir can help reduce the severity and duration of the infection during its exacerbation.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
