Suggest Treatment For Gastroparesis

I have been having terrible pains throughout my entire body, arms, legs, hands, etc. I also have gatroparisis and have an issue eating and maintaining my weight. It seems if I lie on one side of my body too long, the pain is unbearable. Can this be related to losing so much muscle mass over a short period of time?

Hello
I have gone through your question and understand your concern. In my view, Gastroparesis can be the cause of your muscle pains as delayed stomach emptying can affect body’s ability to digest and absorb. To be more specific deficiency of vitamins like vitamin D, vitamin B 1, vitamin B 12 and minerals like magnesium can be the cause of severe muscle pains symptoms like you have mentioned.
In my opinion small changes can help you in long term like a diet designed for Gastroparesis patient which will keep a check on your weight. Then coming to the deficiency of vitamins and minerals ,that can be treated with daily supplements of vitamins and minerals essential for the body.
A daily dose of vitamin D 1,000 to 2,000 I.U can be taken. Daily intake of vitamin B 1 of 1 to 2 milligrams and B 12 is 2.4 micro grams will fill in for the deficiency. And daily dose of at least 400 mg magnesium can help you with your muscles and magnesium is also a laxative. Hope your concern is answered.
