Suggest Treatment For Fungal Infection In The Toenails

I had surgery on my right big toe 3 times in the past 50 years. My toe nail is discolored and has a deep space underneath. The dermatologist ruled out a fungus an said it was due to trauma . I recently have experienced pain in my toenail. Wearing shoes and walking is very discomforting. Can something be done to remove this pain?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,
Thanks for trusting Healthcaremagic!
I have gone through your query and I can understand your concerns.
You can take simple analgesics like aceclofenac or tramadol for pain. If pus collection is there, it has to be removed.
Thanks
