Suggest Treatment For Frequent Stomach Pain

My mother is frequently having stomach pain. Below or somewhat near the stomach, i can feel some bouncing feel, she calls it vayu gola in our mother tongue(marathi). A massage of the stomach recedes the pain but after sometime it again starts paining. Please suggest medication, she is 48 years old.

Hello

Thanks for asking a question at HCM

It is pleasure to help you at this moment

This seems to be due to Indigestion/Gastritis. Se should be investigated before giving any medication.

Take her to a Gastroenterologist and get an Upper GI Endoscopy done, the first thing to see any Gastric ulcer, hiatus hernia etc.

Second thing get an Ultrsound abdomen done. This can ruleout any mass in the abdomen present.

Based on the reports treatment can be started.

Hope this helps!

Best Regards
