My kid is 15 months old, she gets affected with cold very often, right now she is suffereing from heavy cough and cold with fever, the local dr.’s have given these medications, please advice Paracetamol oral suspension – Fevago (syrup) Ambroxyl terbutaline guaiphenesine and menthol syrup - Ambrolite s (syrup) Montelukast sodium and levo cetrzine dihydrocloride syrup – Molev syrup

Your child is probably suffering from a condition called bronchiolitis which is caused by a virus although it could also be a lower respiratory tract infection. The medicines are proper and you need not worry. Steam inhalation should be helpful if nebulization is beyond scope.
