Suggest Treatment For Frequent And Intense Asthma Symptoms

I have been diagnosed with minor asthma and minor copd. Allergies are seasonal....however, I have cleared the spring season and was back to normal again when I started coughing again, somtimes dry, others coughin up phlem. I ve observed it gets worse when I am inside with a cat. I need a good allergist who can perform allergy testing to determine why I am getting more frequent and more intense asthma symptons. I live in Dumfries, VA. Thank you

Hi,

When you know you are allergic to cat hairs. You should avoid staying in vicinity of cat. Wear mask when inevitable. It's good to consult an allergy specialist / chest physician, to find / exclude notorious multiple allergens you are exposed to. Actually, desensitization treatment is available to tackle with allergens.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
