Suggest Treatment For Fractures Throughout Pelvis And Femur When Diagnosed With Osgood-Schlatter Disease

My fiance was broadsided 5 days ago his side. Besides L femur break, coccyus break, hair fractures throughout entire pelvis, shearing of urethral tubing, compounding injuries to lower back with prior diagnosis of minor scoliosis and childhood diagnosis of oslagers disease ( ya I know) his testes are extremely swollen and almost black in color. Not hot tho, just swollen bout the size of a grapefruit; help needed to alleviate the immense pain in lower back without hurting femur and coccyus repair or testes.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Osgood-Schlatter management has not been studied in randomized controlled trials. Observation studies suggest that most patients respond to nonsurgical treatment and that those with persistent symptoms may benefit from surgical therapy. Non-surgical treatment with pain control, activity continuation, and physical therapy.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Heang Chan Raksmey, General & Family Physician
