Suggest Treatment For Fractured Toe

My name is Alex. I fractured my toe years ago while on vacation, if i remember it was a small hairline fracture going across, and I think for the most part it was ok and healed, but the other day i hit my foot on a tree root that was sticking out of the ground and my foot went numb like the time that i fractured it, the pain was nowhere near as intense and i could move my toe ok but its been bothering me just a little as ive still had to walk to work and around the house, it stings every now and then, im worried i may have re-fractured it a little, should i be worried?

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Yes as you have history of trauma.. you should go with xray of that toe AP view and OBLUQUE view.. to know either fracture or not..
