Suggest Treatment For Foot Ulcer
85 year old man being treated for diabetic foot ulcer(healing) with co-amoxiclav 125 tds suffered diahorrea When starting medication 10 days ago,now extreme tiredness and complete loss of appetite. Will take plenty of sugar free fluids but no solid food.

Hello,
i have studied your case and I think that Amoxiclav is causing diarrhoea in you. I would recommend following treatment for you.
1.You need IV fluid to treat weakness as there is fluid deficiency after loose motions.
2.Take ORS poder.
3.Tablet B complex two tablet daily will take care of antibiotic mediated diarrhoea.
