Suggest Treatment For Foot Deformity Due To Missing Bone In Toe

Hello, I have been recently diagnosed with having an abnormality in my little toe on my left foot. I had an x ray, which showed I am missing the middle bone in my toe. My toe is out of shape and is causing pain due to rubbing on my shoe and I am putting pressure on other parts of my foot, as I find my walking is becoming distorted. My GP has referred me to a consultant and I am waiting for an appointment but I am trying to find out what kind of treatment options there may be for this.
