Suggest Treatment For Fluttering Sensation In The Chest
I have a weird sensation in my chest that only lasts a second, it happens randomly. I have no other symptoms. I am 57 years old a non smoker for the last 14 months and 1.65m tall and weigh 65kg. I walk fast for an hour everyday with my dogs.
A fluttering feeling in the chest is mostly due to palpitations (rapid heart rate). Since you had a nodule in heart, arrhythmia can be the possibility. So better to consult cardiologist and get done 1. Ecg 2. 2d echo 3. Holter monitoring (24-hour continuous recording of ECG) to diagnose arrhythmia. If all are normal then no need to worry much for the cardiac cause. Anxiety can also cause similar symptoms. So avoid stress and tension.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ivan R. Rommstein, General Surgeon
