Suggest Treatment For Flu And Pneumonia

I have been sick for going on three months with a variety of different symptoms and problems. 1st had flu then phneumonia, never fully got over that have had constant cough & chest crud coughing up greenish brown crud. Now for 2wks I have been vomiting nothing the dr had called me in had worked. And I have been to scared to go to the ER want a second opinion. Can u help

Thank you for your question. I am Dr Asanghanwa Carlson. I would say from your description you have got a pneumonia which is a lung infection probably due to a bacteria called Pseudomonas. Other germs could also cause this. However I would say you need to seek urgent medical attention at the ER so appropriate tests are done on your sputum so the germ is identified and an appropriate antibiotic prescribed. This is necessary as you have already taken other medications with little or no relieve. Good luck
