Suggest Treatment For Flank Pain

I am having pain in what feels like my kidneys. My left side mostly, but my right side hurts too. It hurts at night badly. It feels okay in the morning, but get s worse as the day goes on. By night time, it hurts pretty good. Anyway, Ive been hydrating with water and juices with no sugar added since the onset. About five days ago. No real relief it seems. I haven t been consuming any alcohol or refined sugars since either.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Flank pain mostly suggests the presence of the renal stone. So hydration with fluid will help you to remove that stone if it's less than 10mm.

Otherwise, it needs to be surgically removed. So have a complete check up for renal stone. for flank pain, you can take tablet dicyclomine for better relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
