Suggest Treatment For Fever In An Infant

Hello doctor...my son is 11m old weighing 12 kg.has fever since yesterday evening.hes got only fever.I have given him 6ml p125 every. 4th hrly.the temperature is coming down with medication and again rising up...hez feeding well.sleeping well should an antibiotic be started?how long can I wait before starting. an antibiotic ?

If fever is high for more than 3 days go for the blood test and if a sore throat is present with fever, you can start antibiotics. But I would prefer to do blood check-up as in raining reason typhoid and malaria are common.
