Suggest Treatment For Fever, Headache And Diarrhea

For the last 40 hours I have experienced a fever that comes and goes (101 at first), headache, woozy, upset stomach. FYI - I have Meniere s Disease but it has been nicely managed for 3 years. Thoughts? Should I speak with a local physician tomorrow?

Hello,

1. Are you feeling nausea?
2. Is there any continuous high pitched sound in your ear?
3. Are you feeling pain in an ear?
4. Before all these symptoms, have you eaten something you might cause this?
5. Are you on any medication? Please mention.
6. Is there heaviness or pain across the face, forehead?

I would like to give some tests:

1. Stool analysis
2. Complete Blood Test
3. Liver Function Tests

I would like to start this medication:

1. Ciprofloxacin: 500 mg orally twice a day for 10 days; for diarrhea to stop immediately
2. Loperamide: 4 mg orally after the first loose stool, then 2 mg orally after each unformed stool.

Maximum dose: 16 mg per day.

In my opinion, one of the leading cause for you is enteric fever specifically Salmonella enteric fever.

So, I started the treatment. I also mentioned other tests in case, if there is other things then we can give treatment for that.
