Suggest Treatment For Fever And Swollen Throat

Hello. I am 22 years old and have a low grade fever of 99.3. I feel like my tongue and throwt are swollen and bavw unbearable headaches. My eyes are si tender i can barely wear my glasses or be by the light. I have random body aches and im cold in 75 degree weather. Any idea as to whats goong on?

Hi welcome to health care magic...

Here you can have acute pharyngitis according to history....

Your work up needed with. ..
-Detail history
-examination esp posterior pharynx
-auscultation
-CBC with differential blood count

If high total count with neutrophilia present than antibiotic course given....

If inflammatory swelling in posterior pharynx more than betamethasone 0.5 mg given for five days to relieve inflammation....

Drink lots of fluid...

Avoid excess spicy foods....

Vitamin C can be taken....

If needed than betardin gargles can be prescribed. ...

Take care

Advise :otorhinolaryngologist consultation for examination...
