Suggest Treatment For Fever And Stomach Ache Of A 5 Year Old

my daughter is 5 and she has had a fever and stomach ache for the past two days. she has had no appetite and some throwing up not much. the no appetite has been for five days and two days ago she was complaining about her head hurting. I live in joplin mo where the tornado was and was trying not to make a trip to the er tonight. pls help

Hi.... by what you quote I feel that your kid might be having a viral illness. Fever without any localising signs like this could be a viral illness or a starting stage of diarrhoea. Even if she is not throwing up because of the pain in the abdomen she might be having a nausea. This is the reason she is not able to eat well. You can give any over the counter antiemetic medication if you have in hand. For fever you can give Paracetamol in the appropriate dose.
