Suggest Treatment For Fatigue, Headache And Nasal Congestion

Grandson had fifth disease last week, I was exposed. Now I have stuffy nose, headache, fatigue, stiff neck. Sometimes really cold, then very warm. Also have allergy symptoms, took Zyrtec which helped with itchy throat and stuffy nose. Is it a different virus or allergies?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

As per your history, it may be due to sinusitis.

For that, do saline or Betadine gargles. Take steam inhalation twice a day.

For a headache, you can take tablet acetaminophen.

In case of fever or cough with phlegm, you may require antibiotics, complete hemogram, chest X-ray after consultation.

Take hygienic food and water. Keep your self hydrated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shyam B. Kale, General & Family Physician
