Suggest Treatment For Eye Pain And Headache After Treating A Sinus Infection
I have had a sinus infection for 2 weeks now. I was on an antibiotic called z-pack for 5 days. I finished antibiotic 3 days ago. Although I have improved, I still get pain in under eye and sinus headaches. Upper teeth as well. They said the antibiotic will last 5 days in my body once I finished antibiotic. Does this mean I still have the infection and how long does it take to go away? I m taking a sinus decongestant as well. Thank you for your help.

Hi,
You can take vapor inhalation (Karvol or Vicks added to water. If you are not allergic to it) sinus inflammation is mostly due to allergy.
In my view you need to avoid allergens, take some antiallergic pill in addition option to decongestant, histamine blocker, anti-inflammatory drug in addition to an antibiotic if needful (blood & nasal region examination may be needful. Please discuss the matter with your doctor/ENT specialist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
