Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
1. I have fleeting shadow people 2.This one I cannot find anywhere. When I doze off at night and then I awake, certain objects in my room are up close in my face and as I focus on them they go back to where they belong. For example, a wall with pictures will decrease in size and be right up to my face. The TV will decrease in size but seem like it is on my lap. The door in the door way will come right up to me and them when I focus all goes back into place. The perceptions are bizarre and I have even considered them to be supernatural powers. I do have lots of floaters, I have a veil and I have clouds and my ceiling is a wonderland of shadow figures that look so real.
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I have read your description and understand your concern. Eye floaters appear as small spots that drift through your field of vision. Most floaters are small flecks of a protein called collagen present as part of a gel-like substance in the back of your eye called the vitreous. Most of the times, they are benign ones, and almost never require medical treatment. You need to seek medical attention promptly by consulting Opthalmologist if you notice any of the following: 1. sudden increase in the number of floaters 2. flashes of light 3. loss of side vision 4. eye pain Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best. Regards, Dr.Ashakiran.S., MBBS., MD.
