Suggest Treatment For Esophageal Stricture

I am suffering from acute problem of swallowing the food.yesterday I got done endoscopy which cannot be done properly as Doctor said your food pipe is shrinked and and tube of endoscopy instrument can not be inserted. He has taken some fluid for biopsy. please advice I am worried.

Hi,

Sorry to hear about your problem. The exact management would depend on the cause of the problem that will be revealed by the biopsy report.

Sometime the problem may be a serious one. Till that you should take liquids foods. If needed a stent can be placed in your pipe. However, it would be decided after the report.
