General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

ED is commonly related to blood pressure, blood circulation, diabetes, injuries to spinal cord, being overweight, etc. You are suggested to lose weight if obese, quit smoking, alcohol or addictions if any. Do physical exercises and work out your relationship issues. Control you blood glucose level. Diabetes damages nerves and blood vessels.

Your triglyceride and cholesterol levels should be normal. Get lipid function tests done. Though medications like Sildenafil (Viagra) may help but you are suggested to get clinically examined by a GP / urologist. Get investigations done, get treated at the earliest.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
