I am a 58 year old woman with a history of addiction to oxycontin and oxycodone (15mg and 15mg), severe cervical and lumbar deterioration , stenosis..., cardiac arrhythmia with AF Fib, lately constant high BP with a constant systolic above 190, diastolic bouncing. I would alternate sleeping on my bed and ib an 8 inch foam on the floor. I woke up with what I am positive I slept wrong and woke up and trying to get up cause sharp back and neck pain. It moved to sweating to a point I was and still getting soaked. I went to the ER. I had a chest X-ray, cardiac workup, chest X-ray, and everything was fine.I was given Ativan which calmed the fear I felt and some reprieve from sweats but I am into day 3 and still have the sweats.flushing, general sick feeling with pack pain more so than norman and pain from last left rib radiating to right rib. I am post r-y bariatric reversal that has caused intestinal problems (constipation). Family history is clots, heart, diabetes, I have never been like this for any more than an hour or so in my past that I might say were stress/panic, but lasting very short periods. I am afraid and this is sad to say but I have a doctor I can t say I trust. He suggest Marijuana 2 years ago, I didn t do well with that. It was suggested I try again so I called that doctor who suggested and supported it before and when I asked for him to sign the paperwork again and he said not until I was OFF the OXYs and yet he is the one that suggested it before. Major run around. My major meds are the Oxys listed above, crestor, A beta blocker that starts with Met 25 mg, klonopin. I am scared and anymore the doctors hands are tied with good old fashion hospitalize, test and get to the bottom. Instead discharge me while my hair and upper body is ringing wet. I am beginning to think this is something serious as Ive never been a sweat bag with a headache, forgetting what I am saying and the the overall feeling of weak and sick.I don t know where to get help.......HELP
