My son is 12 months. Lately he has had little bumpy break outs that i thought was eczema but he doesn t scratch neither is it in common eczema places. He has also had grey tinted stools lately. He recently switched to milk. Could he be lactose intolerant? He has no gassiness after drinking milk
Hello, just a colour change in stools isnot suggestive of lactose intolerance. Infants show changes in the stool colour depending on the diet taken..As far as the skin lesions are concerned, eczema is unlikely if there is no itching...papular urticaria is common at this age, i would adv you to apply dermocalm lotion locally twice daily on the lesions and give syrup Cetrizine 1 tsf at bedtime for 4-5 days..Lesions should resolve by then, if develops any other complaints, i would adv you to visit a dermatologist for evaluation. Thanks Take care
