Hi. I went swimming about 2 months back. Once i used an ear plug and had a sudden pain in myear. I consulted a doctor and i was told that it is an ear drum damage. I started medication along with hot pad application but it did not heal as quickly. Till now i was on medications. Last week it healed and i stopped the medication and the hot application. After 2 day the samw pain started again along with an early morning liquid and powder-like discharge. Please help. Thanks. Kashish

Hi,

Welcome to HCM,

I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.

Please chest out for tonsill and sinus or allergy infections, where one can have repeated infections.

some donts- avoid swimming for 3 months, avoid water per ear during bath by plugging the ear, avoid chilled products consumption, chilled weather. take care of your ear strictly with drops and oral medications.

visit an ent surgeon for throat and nose infections, get proper treatment.

Hope, I have answered your query, all the best, take care.
