Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query your son have symptoms of ear pain which could be due to ear infection, ear canal dermatitis , otitis media and due to perforation of ear canal. Need not to worry about it. I would suggest you to take few preventive measures.

- Take proper rest.

- Avoid pricking and touching it with any sharp object.

- Try to avoid use of mobile as it will put more pressure.

You should wait for one month with prescribed course of medication and after that if symptoms keeps on persisting visit pediatrician once and get complete examination done and go for audiometer testing and start treatment accordingly.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes,
