Suggest Treatment For Ear Pain

hi...
I, 18 and I had ear pain and could not sleep the whole of last night. I woke up this morning with puss coming out of my ear. I bought an oil olive ear drop for my ear and used this . when I put a cotton in I saw a bit of blood in it...could it be a middle ear perforation? is it alright that I used the olive oil droplets unknowingly??

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems like Ear infection and pus discharge and bleeding is due to infection and does not look like ear drum perforation..
Olive oil droplets will not help in resolving the issue and you need to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and an Otoscopic examination will confirm the diagnosis..
In case of infection in ear the physician will advise you to take antibiotics like Augmentin or Clindamycin or Cephelexin and anti-inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen or Diclofenac potassium, antibiotic ear drops and decongestant nasal sprays..
Pus drainange can also be done for faster clearing f the infection and reduction in pain..
