General & Family Physician 's  Response
Greetings Mr.sethiyaseelan! On this issue first i would like to explain you about earache(otalgia)! An earache from a cold can be a sharp, dull, or burning pain that can range from mild to very painful. Even if the trapped fluid in the ear is not infected, the fluid puts pressure on the eardrum, causing it to bulge and throb. colds are self-limiting, an earache with a cold usually goes away on its own. Still, if you have an earache , you can try some home remedy like
1.Place a cold pack or cold wet washcloth on the outer ear for 20 minutes to reduce pain.
2.Chewing may help relieve the pain and pressure of an ear infection.
3.Resting in an upright position instead of lying down can reduce pressure in the middle ear.
Regarding Candibiotic drops , since your telling there is no pus , Yes you can use this drop! it is used to treat ear infections by relieving inflammation and targeting the bacteria and fungi responsible for symptoms. It can also relieve pain by functioning as a local anesthetic.
