Suggest Treatment For Ear Pain In A Child

My 6yr old son had grommits and tonsilectomy a week ago today.his throat doesnt hurt but hes been cryin in pain about his ears and holding them....no one has advised me if earache or earpain is normal after a week he seems in alot of pain even with regular paracetamol and ibrophen. Please help me.

Halo,
Your son might have ASOM, let him have steam inhalation through nose. He should have oral as well as nasal decongestant. As he had surgery recently, you must consult your doctor for antibiotics.
