Suggest Treatment For Ear Infection And Fever

yes, my son is 11 yrs.old . He went on a 4 day vacation with a friend and his family for 4 days in loughlin Nevada. they did water sports in the cold river. he came back tues. afternoon. he said he woke up that morning and he was dizzy. his ear was hurting the next day. I took him to the dr. he was prescribed amoxicillian, for an ear infection in his left ear. he is still dizzy, and had a fever today. I gave him advil for the fever. he feels better. Should I take him back to the dr.? he is not coughing, or anything else. just mainly the dizzieness worries me. Should I wait another day, and hope the antibiotic kicks in? my name is Kathleen

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, because of the cold condition and whether some time vestibular dysfunction takes placed, second this could be viral infection although condition may not need any treatment, conservative management may be helpful, have steam inhalation, hot shower, bed rest, there is no role for antibiotic, hope this information helps
I find this answer helpful
