Suggest Treatment For Ear Blockage

Hi doc , I have this problem of blockage due to ear wax for quite some time now. I last visited an ent specialist around 2 yrs back . He used a sort of pin to remove wax and also a syringe . but the only reason I did not visit him again is that removal was painful ( though effective and I could hear normally after it ) and m afraid of it . he then recommended me to use soliwax fr softening the wax . but recently I read somewhere that soliwax swells the wax and pushes it deeper into the ear drum :/ . I just wanted to confirm is it true ? Is using soliwax the right choice in my case ? Moreover when i use it once it is like ear gets blocked even more ! What shud I do ?plz help . Regards Kartik

Some people have a tendency to get wax impacted very often. Cleaning the wax with the ear bud further promote this impaction as the urge to clean deeper push it in. Soliwax softens the wax and makes it easy to be removed. In this process the wax get softened and swells, as a result the ear feels clogged. But nothing to worry.
For now you should get your wax cleaned by the ent.
Dont use ear buds to clean deep
Increase your jaw movements as it facilitates self cleansing.
