General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to a respiratory tract infection. I suggest using anti-inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the inflammation. I also suggest using a mucolytic such as Mucinex to relieve the cough. If the symptoms continue, you may need antibiotics. Meanwhile, I suggest to rest, eat a healthy diet and drink liquids.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
