Hi,

Your child has symptoms of a dry cough and wheezing which seems to be due to severe upper respiratory tract infection. I would suggest you do warm saline gargles with a pinch of salt water.

Avoid cold carbonated beverages for a child. Take expectorants. Steam inhalation is very effective for you.

Consult paediatrician without any delay. The doctor may order a blood test, throat swab test and may prescribe antibiotics along with decongestants. For now, take a decongestant like Phenylephrine along with Asthalin 2.5 ml.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
