Suggest Treatment For Dry And Itchy Bruise On Face Post Injury
I was lifting my bike and my handle swung back and hit my face just left of my left eye and about and hour later i noticed I had popped a vessel in my eye. My mom said it would not cause any pain but it it has been extremely dry and itchy and hurts why?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of dry and itchy bruise on face post injury which is a very common thing that occur due inflammation. Sometimes it can occur due to fractured underlying bone and formation of hematoma.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to apply hot compresses and give these compresses several times a day. You should take ibuprofen(if not allergic) or acetaminophen for pain and swelling. If it persist for more than a week then consult oral and maxillofacial surgeon for proper evaluation to rule out condition like fracture and start treatment accordingly.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
