Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My husband was taking lacenpro (spelling incorrect) for HB and has had reaction from this medication. serious coughing and gagging, spitting clear fluids for approximately 6 weeks since he has stopped taking this medicine. He is now experiencing a red flushing to face and ears, in the afternoon mainly, but he very concerned about this new reaction. What do you think could be causing this to happen?
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, ACE inhibitor could induces the cough and if some one having this symptom then medicine need to be changed as soon as the drug switch over to another antihypertensive symptom of cough comes around, if your husband still having some allergic symptoms so this may not be due to ACE inhibitor, here symptom can be controlled with antihistamine, hope this information helps, take care.
