Suggest Treatment For Drowsiness While On Eliquis For Irregular Heart Rate

I have been taking ELIQUIS for about two weeks and can hardly keep my eyes open. I am diabetic, have high BP , which is under control. I have been diagnosed with irregular heart beat. My cardiologist prescribed Eliquis 2.5 mg about two weeks , I am so sleepy ,I can hardly keep my eyes open.I am 89 years old, even though I don t look it. I am active person .

Symptom of drowsiness is not due to the medicine Eliquis but it seems to be due to stress or fluctuating plasma glucose level. In geriatric age group sleepy feel is pretty common condition and it is not due to any disease. It is advisable to check the glucose level and the dose of medicine taken for it.
