Suggest Treatment For Dizziness, Nausea And Pain Behind Ear

Hello, I have been having dizzy spells on and off for over a month. I went to the ENT doctor about a month ago and was diagnosed as a virus in the ear????? I was given exercises to do for balance. Example: moving head left to right, moving eyes left to right, etc... I get nauseated sometimes too. I am really afraid something is wrong with me. The pain in my ear sometimes radiates down the back of my head (behind the ear). My question is should I be REALLY concerned at this point that the doctor has overlooked something? Thank you any ways!

The inner ear is one of the areas of the body that is involved in balance.

Problems with the inner ear are one of the most common reasons for dizziness and vertigo. The 3 inner ear conditions are: meniere's , BPPV and vestibular neuronitis

These , however are not usually associated with pain.

Because of the presence of pain you may want to consider re assessment to rule out any other possible causes of your symptoms.
Your doctor may consider imaging such as CT or MRI
