Suggest Treatment For Dizziness, Mild Headache, Chronic Indigestion And Weight Loss

i am 53 years old. For the last week I have been having slight headaches, dizziness, and a constant mild upset stomach and no real appetite. I know I should eat but don t want to be/c I am afraid I will vomit. I have lost about 25 lbs over the last 6 months but haven t been trying to. I had quit bit of stress in my job but about 2 weeks ago was let go. I am dizzy if I am standing and/or laying down - but not all the time. The dizziness comes and goes as well as the mild headaches that seem to be around my eye area.

Hi Dear ,

Welcome to HCM,

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have dizziness, mild headache, chronic indigestion and weight loss . Well there can be many reasons for headache and dizziness like low blood glucose or iron level , benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) , infection , meniere's disease , migraine , neurological , inner ear infection and due to certain medicines such as blood pressure medicines or anti depressants . It seems to me that in your case there is probability that blood pressure medicine are causing the symptoms . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination and rule out above causes . Doctor may order balancing test , rotatory chain test , hearing test , posturography and CT scan . Doctor may prescrine ani emetic drug , sedatives and alter the dose of BP medicines or prescribe some substitute . Consult gastroenterologist for gastric problem like gastritis , IBS and ulcers . For now avoid bending forward and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for headache .

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes,
