Suggest Treatment For Dizziness, Headaches And Blurred Vision
I was on Doxycline for a week and a half and last Tuesday noticed extreme dizziness headaches and blurred vision but thought it was from Lyme disease which they were treating me for. Tests came back negative for Lyme and discontinued on Doxy on Thursday night. Im still getting dizzy with headaches and blurred vision, is this because the Doxy is still in my system?

Hi,
noted your history of developing dizziness, headache and blurred vision for supposedly taking Doxycyclin for Lyme's disease the report of which came back negative.
Doxycyclin rarely cause such symptoms as you have mentioned.
Hence I would advise you the following:
Consult your Doctor again for clinical evaluation, examination and relevant investigations to find the cause.
Once the cause is found it can be treated as per the findings.
Anyways, Doxycyclin has already been stopped.
Take Paracetamol for headache.
Take a second opinion of an Ophthalmologist for blurred vision.
CT of brain may be needed if headache cause is not found or if other investigations are normal and routine treatment is not helping.
