Suggest Treatment For Dizziness And Tinnitus While Having BPPV
Hi. I have benign paroxysmal vertigo. For the past week symptoms have escalated to increased dizziness ear ache ringing in ears. But this time I also have a sore throat and general weakness palpitations and a shaky feeling. Do these symptoms correlate totthis ddiagnosis? Thanks again.

The presence of the sore throat and general weakness may indicate that you have a new onset infection along with your BPPV (benign paroxysmal positional vertigo).
Viral infections can also cause vertigo if they involve the inner ear so it is possible that your vertigo may worsen.
There are medications that you can use temporarily to help with your symptoms eg valium, dramamine
