Hello there,
Diabetes is a chronic disease and if left uncontrolled can affect many other organs like eyes, kidneys, nerves, heart and brain. Diabetes can be kept under control by diet changes, exercise regularly, stress management and medications in the form of Metformin and Pioglitazone. Medicines once started should not be stopped or changed without the consultation of a physician. Herbal medicines do help some people but cannot replace allopathic medicine drastically. From what you have mentioned your sugar levels are very high and will not be controlled by herbal medicines. Continue taking the medicines as advised but you may need some dose of insulin if sugars are so high to bring them down, as at such high levels medicines do not show much effect. For now you can take the prescribed medicines for a week and check your sugars again. If sugars continue to be high you need to see a diabetologist for change in medicines or starting insulin if needed. Stop all sugars in diet and try to include some form of exercise in you routine after consultation with a heart doctor.

Diabetologist Dr. Pawan Begani's  Response
Never go for any powder whose composition is not well documented. Check your Serum creatinine and if normal, start with metformin. check blood sugars regularly and if normal, continue taking it . It is always preferable to avoid self medication. Consult your doctor atleast once monthly or early if required or suggested.
