Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been diagnosed with diverticulitis . My most recent attack was in April 2016. My doctor prescribed amoxicillin, which I took for 10 days and it did help; however, having a BM is very uncomfortable and I remain with pain in the abdominal area, left side. Is this something to be concerned with or is it just something to expect with the disease? I am a 75 yr old female in otherwise good health. Thank you for your assistance
