General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI,
I understand your concern.
Your problem seems to be lack of strength in both lower extremities. it can be due to-
- Muscular wasting due to laxck of use- floowing the cervical injury you had problems which made to stuck to be( sleeping/ sitting ).. this made the lower limbs weak muscles.
In such a cse, high protein/ calcium & vitamin rich diet with a physiotherrapy to built up muscles in lower limb / along with medicines you might be taking for complaints like vertigo( because of cervical spine injury ) will help.
- Along with the cervical spine, lubber spine was involved in the accident.. this might have been escaped attaintion. Such injury to lumber spine can cause direct pressure on nerves supplying lower limb.. making the limbs- weak, painful, numb Muscles get weak due to deprived nerve supply
Such condition demands a spinal surgeons consultation/ investigations/ treatment ( which may be medicines, physiotherapy Or surgery.)
Thanks.
